"Tropical depression in the Gulf of Thailand"

        An active low pressure cell intensified its strength to the tropical depression at 10.00 a.m., today, has its centered at Latitude 10.0 degree North, 100.0 degree East, about 80 kilometers east of Chumphon and maximum wind speed about 55 kilometers per hour. This tropical depression is moving slowly westward. More rain and heavy to very heavy rain are expected in many places over Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Suphan Buri, Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Ranong and Phangnga. People in the risky areas should beware of flooding condition and high wave with wave height 2-3 meters in upper Gulf while all ship should proceed with caution during May, 1-3, 2007.
