Thailand
The monsoon trough lay across the lower northern, upper central and northeastern parts during the first half of the week and it lay towards to tropical depression in the upper South China Sea. After that, it intensified to the tropical storm “EWINIAR (1804)” in the morning of 6 June then moved southwestward pass the coastal areas of south China to the Hainan Strait in the afternoon of the same day before moved north-northeastward and made landfall over the south of Guangdong Province, China in the evening of the next day. “EWINIAR” moved further inland and downgraded to the tropical depression and the low pressure cell on 8 and 9 June, respectively. After that, the monsoon trough moved northward to lie across Myanmar, Laos and upper Vietnam. In addition, the southwest monsoon which prevailed over the Andaman Sea, the southern part and the Gulf of Thailand strengthened during the second half of the week. These conditions caused abundant rainfall almost the whole week.    
Northern Part
Fairly widespread to widespread rain nearly the whole week with heavy rainfall in some areas. 52.0 mm at Nakhon Thai Phitsanulok on 10 June 
Northeastern Part
Fairly widespread to widespread rain with heavy to very heavy rainfall in some areas except for scattered rain with heavy rainfall in some areas on 8 and 9 June. 180.0 mm at So Phisai Nong Khai on 10 June 
Central Part
Scattered to fairly widespread rain with heavy rainfall in some areas. 80.3 mm at Banhauymalai School, Sangkhla Buri Kanchanaburi on 9 June 
Eastern Part
Widespread rain with heavy rainfall in some areas except for scattered rain on 4, 5 and 7 June. Heavy rainfall in several areas with heavy rainfall in some areas mainly in lower coastal areas. 110.0 mm at Khao Khitchakut Chanthaburi on 9 June 
Southern Part (East Coast)
Scattered rain nearly the whole week with heavy rainfall in some areas. 80.4 mm at Phato Chumphon on 8 June 
Southern Part (West Coast)
Isolated to scattered rain except for fairly widespread to widespread rain with heavy to very heavy rainfall in some areas on 4, 5 and 9 June. Thundershower and gusty wind occurred at Ranong province on 9 June. 149.9 mm at Thalang Phuket on 4 June 
Metropolitan
Fairly widespread to widespread rain with heavy rainfall in some areas except for isolated rain with heavy rainfall in some areas on 4. 5 and 7 June. 59.8 mm at Wat Ratchakosa School Khet Lat Krabang on 10 June 32.8 mm at Khlong Luang Pathum Thani on 5 June
