Thailand
The monsoon trough lay across the northern and northeastern parts during the beginning and the middle of the week and lay toward the tropical depression over the upper South China Sea on the first day of the week. Then, the mention tropical depression strengthened into the tropical storm \"KAJIKI(1914)\" and made landfall over central Vietnam in the morning of 3 Sep. and moved through southern Laos before weakened into tropical depression at Salawan, Laos in the evening on the same day. It recurved to Vietnam and moved into the upper South China Sea during late evening and moving away from coastal Vietnam. After that, the mention tropical depression weakened into an active low pressure cell covering the upper South China Sea in the morning of 4 Sep. In addition, the active southwest monsoon prevailed over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the upper Gulf of Thailand during the first half of the week then weakened. Under these conditions, abundant rainfall was observed nationwide mainly during the first half of the week especially in the northern and northeastern parts that experienced torrential rain with heavy to very heavy rainfall in many areas causing flash flooding, overbank flow and landslide in some areas.    
Northern Part
Fairly widespread to widespread rain during early week with heavy to very heavy rainfall in many areas then decreasing rainfall to scattered rain with heavy rainfall in some areas. Flash flood was reported at Mae Hong Son, Phrae, Uttaradit, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun provinces on 2 Sep., at Sukhothai province on 3 Sep. Landslide was reported at Chiang Mai and Lampang provinces on 2 Sep. Overbank flow was reported at Chiang Mai and Nan provinces on 2 Sep. and at Phetchabun province on 3 Sep. 115.0 mm at Den Chai Phrae on 2 Sep. 
Northeastern Part
Widespread rain during the first half of the week with heavy to very heavy rainfall in many areas then decreasing rainfall to scattered rain with heavy rainfall in some areas. Flash floods was reported at Khon Kaen province on 2 Sep., at Si Sa Ket, Nakhon Phanom and Sakon Nakhon provinces on 3 Sep. Overbank flow was reported at Loei province on 2 Sep. 220.5 mm at Si Sa Ket Sericulture Research Si Sa Ket on 3 Sep. 
Central Part
Widespread rain during early week with heavy to very heavy rainfall in some areas then isolated to scattered rain with heavy rainfall in some areas. 95.0 mm at Sub Lanka Forest Garden Lop Buri on 2 Sep. 
Eastern Part
Widespread rain during the first half of the week with heavy to very heavy rainfall in some areas then isolated to scattered rain with heavy rainfall in some areas. 146.9 mm at Khlong Yai Trat on 3 Sep. 
Southern Part (East Coast)
Isolated to scattered rain with heavy rainfall in some areas except for fairly widespread rain with heavy rainfall in some areas on the last day of the week. 67.6 mm at Mueang Chumphon on 4 Sep. 
Southern Part (West Coast)
Isolated to scattered rain with heavy to very heavy rainfall in some areas except for fairly widespread rain with heavy rainfall in some areas on the last day of the week. 158.9 mm at Kra Buri Ranong on 4 Sep. 
Metropolitan
Fairly widespread to widespread rain almost the week with heavy rainfall in some areas of Samut Prakan province on 8 Sep. 34.9 mm at Taweetha Phisek 2 School Khet Bang Khun Thian on 5 Sep. (51.0 mm at Thetsaban 1 School Samut Prakan on 8 Sep.)
