Thailand
The rather active high pressure area from China extended its ridge to cover the northern and upper northeastern parts during the first half of the period. Then another moderate high pressure area from China extended its ridge to cover upper Thailand. In addition, the northeast monsoon prevailed over the Gulf of Thailand and the southern part almost the whole period. Moreover, the active low pressure cell covered the eastern part and the upper Gulf of Thailand during the beginning of the period. These conditions caused cool weather nearly the whole areas of the northern and northeastern parts and cool weather in some areas of the rest parts. Upper Thailand experienced rainfall mainly during the first half of the period. For southern Thailand, abundant rainfall occurred almost the whole period under the influence of the monsoon trough which lie across the upper southern part toward the active low pressure cell in the middle South China Sea during the middle of the period then the mention active low pressure cell intensified into the tropical depression on 5 Nov. and reached the tropical storm strength “NAKRI (1924)” in the evening of the same day.    
Northern Part
Cool weather nearly the whole areas almost the period with cold weather in some areas of the upper portion on the first day of the period. Cold weather in mountainous areas and mountain tops. Isolated to scattered rain throughout the period with heavy rainfall in some areas on 3 and 7 Nov. Gusty wind was reported at Pichit province on 3 Nov. 80.0 mm at Mueang Sukhlothai on 7 Nov.  14.5 º C at Chiang Rai Agromet Stn. Chiang Rai on 1 Nov. 
Northeastern Part
Generally cool weather almost the period Cold weather in mountainous areas and mountain tops. Isolated to scattered rain during the first half of the period and on the last day of the period with heavy rainfall in some areas on 2 Nov. 35.4 mm at Buntharik Ubon Ratchathani on 2 Nov.  17.5 º C at Nakhon Phanom Agromet. Stn. Nakhon Phanom on 6 Nov. (10.0 º C at Phuluang Wildlife Sanctuary Loei on 1,4 Nov.)  
Central Part
Cool weather in several areas. Scattered to fairly widespread rain during the first half of the period with heavy rainfall in some areas on 3 Nov. Isolated light rain on the last day of the period. 47.5 mm at Phanom Thuan Kanchanaburi on 3 Nov.  20.6 º C at Chai Badan Lop Buri on 7 Nov. 
Eastern Part
Cool weather in several areas during early period and cool weather in some areas during the second half of the period. Scattered to fairly widespread rain during the first half of the period then isolated rain. Heavy to very heavy rainfall occurred in some areas during the middle of the period. 145.0 mm at Laem Ngop Trat on 4 Nov.  21.6 º C at Sanam Chai Khet Chachoengsao on 1 Nov. and at Aranyaprathet Sa Kaeo on 1 Nov.  
Southern Part (East Coast)
Scattered to fairly widespread rain with heavy rainfall in some areas throughout the period with heavy rainfall in some areas on 4 Nov. Gusty wind was reported at Chumphon province on 3 Nov. 108.0 mm at Ko Pha-ngan Surat Thani on 4 Nov.  21.6 º C at Sadao Songkhla on 3 Nov. 
Southern Part (West Coast)
Fairly widespread rain with heavy rainfall in some areas except for scattered rain on 5 and 6 Nov. 84.3 mm at Takua Pa Phang-nga on 3 Nov.  22.0 º C at Phuket Airport Phuket on 2 Nov. 
Metropolitan
Cool weather in some areas. Isolated rain with heavy rainfall in some areas during the first half of the period especially fairly widespread rain with heavy to very heavy rainfall in some areas on 3 Nov. 98.2 mm at Patrol and Special operation Division Khet Chatuchak on 3 Nov. (53.5 mm at Bang Phli Samut Prakan on 3 Nov.)   22.7 º C at Don Muang Airport Khet Don Muang on 4 Nov. (22.1 º C at Kamphaeng Saen Nakhon Pathom on 5 Nov.)
