Thailand
The monsoon trough lay across the upper northern and upper northeastern parts toward the low pressure cell over upper Vietnam during the first half of the week then it moved northward to lie across Myanmar and upper Laos toward the low pressure cell over upper Vietnam for few days before moved southward to lie across the northern and upper northeastern parts during weekend. In addition, the southwest monsoon prevailed over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand almost the week accompanied with the blowing of the southeasterly wind over the eastern part and the Gulf of Thailand on the first day of the week and over the eastern and northeastern parts during the middle of the week. These conditions caused abundant rainfall over Thailand almost the week especially in the northeastern, eastern and southern parts with flooding in some areas.    
Northern Part
Isolated to scattered rain except for fairly widespread rain on 8 and 11 Sep. Heavy rainfall was reported in some areas almost the week with very heavy rainfall in some areas on 7 and 11 Sep. Flash flood occurred at Nan province on 7 Sep., at Mae Hong Son and Chiang Rai provinces on 8 Sep. Landslide occurred at Chiang Rai province on 8 Sep. Gusty wind occurred at Pichit province on 9 Sep. 147.0 mm at Dong Charoen Pichit on 11 Sep. 
Northeastern Part
Scattered to fairly widespread rain with heavy rainfall in some areas throughout the week and very heavy rainfall in some areas on the first day of the week. Flash flood occurred at Nakhon Ratchasima province on 13 Sep. 115.0 mm at Si Chiang Mai Nong Khai on 7 Sep. 
Central Part
Isolated to scattered rain except for fairly widespread rain on the first day of the week. Heavy rainfall was reported in some areas throughout the week. 79.7 mm at Sena Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya on 7 Sep. 
Eastern Part
Scattered to fairly widespread rain almost the week with heavy rainfall in some areas. Flash flood occurred at Sa Kaeo province on 7 Sep. 76.9 mm at Watthana Nakhon Sa Kaeo on 13 Sep. 
Southern Part (East Coast)
Scattered to fairly widespread rain almost the week. Heavy rainfall was reported in some areas throughout the week with very heavy rainfall in some areas on 8 and 11 Sep. Flash flood occurred at Yala province on 10 Sep. 131.8 mm at Su-ngai Kolok Narathiwat on 11 Sep. 
Southern Part (West Coast)
Fairly widespread rain almost the week except for scattered rain on the last day of the week. Heavy rainfall was reported in some areas throughout the week and very heavy rainfall in some areas on 8 and 12 Sep. Landslide occurred at Phuket province on 8 Sep. Flash flood occurred at Phang-nga province on 10 and 12 Sep. 121.4 mm at Takua Pa Phang-nga on 8 Sep. 
Metropolitan
Fairly widespread rain with heavy rainfall in some areas except for scattered rain with heavy rainfall in some areas on 7, 10 and 11 Sep. 67.9 mm at Patrol and Special operation Division Khet Chatuchak on 9 Sep. (52.7 mm at Wat Khemaphirataram School Nonthaburi on 10 Sep.)
