Thailand
The weak high pressure area covered upper Thailand and the South China Sea during the beginning of the week then another moderate high pressure area from China extended its ridge to cover the mentioned areas and later weakened on the last day of the week. Besides, the southerly and southeasterly wind prevailed over the lower northern, lower northeastern, central and eastern parts during the first half of the week. These conditions caused cool weather remained in upper Thailand especially during the second half of the week which experienced cool weather in general with cold weather in several areas of the northern and northeastern parts with unusual rainfall in some areas during the first half of the week. For the southern part, the northeastern monsoon which prevailed over the Gulf of Thailand and the southern part was strengthened during the second half of the week causing isolated rain along the east coast during the mentioned time.    
Northern Part
Generally cool weather with cold weather in several areas of the upper portion almost the week. Cold to very cold weather in mountainous areas and mountain tops. Isolated light rain in the upper portion on 17, 18 and 21 Feb. 4.0 mm at Doi Angkhang, Fang Chiang Mai on 18 Feb.  11.1 º C at Mae Sariang Mae Hong Son on 16 Feb. (1.0 º C at Kew Mae Pan, Doi Inthanon Chiang Mai on 16 Feb.)  
Northeastern Part
Generally cool weather with cold weather in some areas during the beginning and the middle of the week then the temperature dropped until cold weather in several areas. Cold weather in mountainous areas and mountain tops with very cold weather in some areas on 19 and 21 Feb. 11.8 º C at Nakhon Phanom Agromet. Stn. on 20 Feb. (7.0 º C at Phu Luang Wildlife Sanctuary Loei on 19 Feb. (and at Phu Kradung National Park Loei on 21 Feb.) 
Central Part
Cool weather in several areas during the first half of the week then the temperature dropped until cool weather in general with cold weather in some areas of Kanchanaburi province on the last day of the week. Isolated rain on 17 Feb. 33.1 mm at Mueang Suphan Buri on 17 Feb.  15.7 º C at Thong Pha Phum Kanchanaburi on 21 Feb. 
Eastern Part
Cool weather in several areas during the first half of the week then the temperature dropped until cool weather in general. Isolated rain in the coastal areas during the first half of the week with heavy rainfall in some areas on 17 Feb. Flash flood occurred at Chon Buri province on 17 Feb. 79.8 mm at Pattaya, Bang Lamung Chon Buri on 17 Feb.  16.8 º C at Sanam Chai Khet Chachoengsao on 21 Feb. (12.1 º C at Khao Kheow, Mueang Nakhon Nayok on 21 Feb.)  
Southern Part (East Coast)
Cool weather nearly the whole areas almost the week. Isolated rain on 17-20 Feb. 15.2 mm at Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan on 17 Feb.  17.8 º C at Hat Yai Songkhla on 18 Feb. and at Nong Phlub Agromet. Stn. Prachuap Khiri Khan on 21 Feb.  
Southern Part (West Coast)
Cool weather in several areas almost the week. 20.4 º C at Mueang Trang on 18 Feb. 
Metropolitan
Cool weather in some areas of vicinity during the first half of the week then the temperature dropped until cool weather in general with cold weather in some areas at Nakhon Pathom province on the last day of the week. Isolated rain on 16-17 Feb. Flash flood occurred at Samut Sakhon province on 17 Feb. 31.1 mm at Taweethapisek 2 School Khet Bangkhunthian on 17 Feb. Vicinity (25.8 mm at Sam Phran Nakhon Pathom on 17 Feb.)   21.2 º C at Bang Na Agromet. Stn. Khet Bang Na on 21 Feb. Vicinity (15.0 º C at Kamphaeng Saen Nakhon Pathom on 21 Feb.)
