The monsoon trough lies across the middle South with the northeasterly wind prevail over the Gulf and the South, bringing heavy to very heavy rain to the South. People in the South should be cautious of thundershowers, heavy rain, and their accumulation, which may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. Avoid traveling past areas prone to flooding. People in upper Thailand, especially in the North and the Northeast, should keep healthy due to changeable weather. The waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand are expected to be about 1 meter high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershower areas. The moderate high-pressure system from China extends to the North and the Northeast. Morning cool, decreasing in temperature and windy are in the upper country. In addition, the severe tropical storm “FENGSHEN” over the upper South China Sea. It is expected to make landfall over the middle of Vietnam on 23 October 2025. After that, it will downgrade rapidly due to the extension of the high-pressure system from China to upper Vietnam and the upper South China Sea. This storm will not move into Thailand.

Eastern
Morning cool in the upper part and 1–2 °C drop in temperature. Minimum temperature 22–24 °C. Maximum temperature 32–35 °C. Northeasterly winds 15–30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rain in Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat,Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23–24 °C. Maximum temperature 29–33 °C. Chumphon Upward: Northeasterly winds 15–30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershowers. Surat Thani Downward: Variable winds 15–30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rain in Phangnga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang, and Satun. Minimum temperature 23–24 °C. Maximum temperature 29–32 °C. Westerly winds 15–30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Partly cloudy and slightly drop in temperature. Minimum temperature 24–26 °C. Maximum temperature 33–35 °C. Northeasterly winds 10–25 km/hr.
