Weather Warning "Thunderstorms and strong Winds in upper Thailand" No. 16 Time Issued : February 9, 2021 |

| The westerly trough moves pass the North to cover the upper Northeast while the southerly and the southeasterly winds bring the moisture from the Gulf of Thailand and the South China Sea across the lower Northeast, the East including Bangkok and its vicinity. Thunderstorms and gusty winds are likely over upper Thailand. People should beware of the severe condition by keeping off open-air, big trees and unsecured billboards. Farmers should prevent for crop damage. During 9-10 February 2021, cool to cold is likely over upper Thailand with a decrease in temperatures by 4-6 degrees Celsius in the Northeast and 2-4 degrees Celsius in the North, the Central, the East including Bangkok and its vicinity. Affected areas are as followings: On 9 February 2021 Northeast: Bueng Kan, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Kalasin, Mukdahan, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Surin, Si Sa Ket, and Ubon Ratchathani. Central: Ang Thong, Sing Buri, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya including Bangkok and its vicinity. East: Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.
