Subject: Tropical storm “MALIKSI”

No. 5 (112/2024)

At 7.00 a.m. LST (1 June 2024), the tropical storm “MALIKSI” over Guangdong, China was down to the tropical depression. At 10.00 a.m., it was centered at latitude 23.0 °N, longitude 112.0 °E. Maximum sustained winds of about 55 km/hr. This storm is moving north-northeast with the speed of about 18 km/hr. It is expected to downgrade to an active low-pressure cell in the next stage.
