The strong monsoon trough will lie across the North, the Central and the Northeast of Thailand while the southwest monsoon across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf will strengthen. More rains will be likely with many places of heavy rains, and very heavy rains are also forecast in some places. People should beware of the severe conditions that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially, along waterways and lowlands, and take more caution in thundershowers.
Affected areas are as followings:

North: Chiang Rai, Lampang, Phayao, Nan, Phrae, Uttaradit, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun.
Northeast: Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Khon Kaen, Kalasin, Mukdahan, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani.
East: Chanthaburi and Trat
South: Ranong, Phang Nga and Phuket.

The rather strong wind forces the wave up to 2-3 meters high in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf and more than 3 meters high in thundershowers while the waves in the lower Andaman Sea and the lower Gulf are 1-2 meters high and more than 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boats in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf keep ashore. Please stay tuned for the weather update.
