Weather Advisory
Subject: Heavy to very heavy Rain in the South
and Strong wind-waves in the Gulf
(Effect until 16 December 2025)

During 12-13 December 2025, rains will be increase with isolated heavy rains in Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Ranong, Phang Nga and Krabi. Because of the low-pressure cell covers the lower Andaman Sea. After that, during 14-16 December 2025, heavy rains still be in the lower South such as Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat, Krabi, Trang, and Satun due to the northeast monsoon which prevail across the Gulf and the South will be strengthen. The wind and waves in the lower Gulf are likely 2-3 meters and above 3 meters in the thundershowers. The waves in the upper Gulf are about 2 meters and above 2 meters in the thundershowers.
People should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulations that cause flash flood and overflows, especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, small boats in the lower Gulf keep ashore.
During 12–13 December 2025, variable weather with thundershowers will be in some places of the upper Thailand due to the easterly wind with moisture prevail across the upper country. After that, 2–4 °C drop in temperature with cool to cold and windy because of the high-pressure system from China extended to cover Thailand. People in the upper country should keep healthy due to variable weathers and farmer should prevent for crop's damage.
