Subject: Heavy to Very Heavy Rains in the South
(Effect during 1-4 Apr 2025)

During 1 – 4 Apr 2025, the easterly wave will move pass the Gulf of Thailand, the South and the Andaman Sea with more rains and isolated heavy to very rains in the South. People in the south should beware of heavy to very heavy rains that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands.
Affected areas are as followings
On 1 April 2025
South: Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat Phatthalung and Songkhla
During 2-3 April 2025
South: Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat, Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun.
On 4 April 2025
South: Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat Phatthalung, Songkhla, Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun.
The strengthening wind forces the waves in the Gulf up to about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
This advisory is in effect on 31 March 2025, at 05.00 p.m.
This next issue will be on 1 April 2025, at 05.00 a.m.
