Subject: Storm “DANAS”

No.11 (168/2025)

At 07.00 p.m. LST (6 July 2025), the severe tropical storm “DANAS”, southwest of Taiwan was develop to the tropical typhoon. At 10.00 p.m., it was centered at latitude 23.3 degrees north and longitude 120.0 degrees east with maximum sustained winds about 120 km./hr. The storm is moving north-northeast at a speed of about 20 km./hr. It is expected to move pass Taiwan during 6-7 July 2025. This storm is forecasted not move to Thailand, and no direct effect to Thailand’s weather but induce the strengthening southwest monsoon prevails over Thailand. The travelers please follow the weather forecast update before departure.
