Subject: Storm “DANAS”

No.12 (169/2025)

At 01.00 a.m. LST (7 July 2025), the tropical typhoon “DANAS” made landfall over Taiwan and down grade to the severe tropical storm. At 04.00 a.m., it was centered at Taiwan Strait or at latitude 25.5 degrees north and longitude 120.6 degrees east with maximum sustained winds about 110 km./hr. The storm is moving northeast at a speed of about 25 km./hr. It is expected to move pass Taiwan during 8-9 July 2025. This storm is forecasted not move to Thailand and no direct effect to Thailand’s weather but induce the strengthening southwest monsoon prevails over Thailand. The travelers please follow the weather forecast update before departure.
