Subject: Storm “DANAS”

No.5 (162/2025)

                At 10.00 a.m. LST (5 July 2025), tropical storm “DANAS” over the upper South China Sea was centered at latitude 20.3 degrees north and longitude 117.4 degrees east with maximum sustained winds about 111 km./hr. The storm is moving northeast slowly and is expected move near Taiwan during 7-9 July 2025. This storm is forecast to not move to Thailand with no direct effect on Thailand’s weather but induced the strengthening southwest monsoon prevails over Thailand.

This advisory is in effect on 5 July 2025, at 11.00 a.m.

This next issue will be on 5 July 2025, at 5.00 p.m.
