Subject: Storm “DANAS”

No.8 (165/2025)

          At 4.00 a.m. LST (6 July 2025), the severe tropical storm “DANAS” over the upper South China Sea was centered at latitude 21.3 degrees north and longitude 118.0 degrees east with maximum sustained winds about 90 km./hr. The storm is moving north-northeast slowly. It is expected to move near Taiwan during 6-7 July 2025. This storm is forecasted not move to Thailand, and no direct effect to Thailand’s weather but induce the strengthen southwest monsoon prevails over Thailand. 

This advisory is in effect on 6 July 2025, at 5.00 a.m.

This next issue will be on 6 July 2025, at 11.00 a.m.
