Subject: Storm “FENGSHEN”
No.16 (307/2025)

At 07.00 a.m. LST (23 October 2025), tropical storm “FENGSHEN” over the upper South China Sea was downgraded to tropical depression. And at 10.00 a.m., this storm has downgraded to an active-low pressure cell over the coast of middle Vietnam, is forecast to the low-pressure cell by today (23 October 2025).
The strengthening moderate monsoon trough lie across the middle South while the moderate northeast monsoon prevails over the upper Gulf, the upper South and the upper Andaman Sea with heavy to very heavy rains in the South during 23-26 October 2025. People in the areas should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. The moderate wind and waves in the upper Gulf and the Andaman Sea offshore are expected 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
