Storm SANBA No. 6 (277/2023)

At 1.00 p.m. on 18 October, the tropical depression in the middle South China Sea has developed into tropical storm SANPA. At 4.00 p.m., it was centered at latitude 17.7 degrees North and longitude 108.5 degrees East., With sustained winds about 65 km/hr, it is moving northwest at a speed of 15 km/hr. The storm will move into Tokin Bay on 19 and 20 October with no direct effect on Thailand’s weather.

This advisory is in effect on 18 October 2023, at 5.00 p.m.
