Subject: Summer Storm in Thailand
(Effect during 6–8 March 2025)

The moderate to rather strong high-pressure system covers the Northeast and the South China Sea. While the weather in the upper country is hot to very hot. Outbreak of summer storms are possible following with gusty wind and lightning strike are likely in some areas of the lower North, the lower Northeast, the lower Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the East. People in these areas should beware of severe conditions by keeping off outdoor places, big trees and unsecured billboards and farmers should prevent for crops damage and animals danger.
Affected areas are as followings:
On 6 March 2025
North: Phichit, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun.
Northeast: Chaiyaphum, Mukdahan, Khon Kaen, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Yasothon,
Amnat Charoen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani
Central: Nakhon Sawan, Lopburi and Saraburi.
East: Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi
and Trat.
On 7 March 2025
North: Tak, Kamphaeng Phet, Phichit and Phitsanulok.
Northeast: Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram and Surin.
Central: Nakhon Sawan, Lopburi, Saraburi, Singburi, Ang Thong, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya,
Suphanburi, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Sakhon, and Samut Songkhram
including Bangkok and its vicinity.
East: Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi
and Trat.
South: Prachuap Khiri Khan and Chumphon.
On 8 March 2025
Central: Suphanburi, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Sakhon and Samut Songkhram
including Bangkok and its vicinity.
South: Prachuap Khiri Khan and Chumphon.
This advisory is in effect on 5 March 2025, at 5.00 a.m.
