Subject: Summer Storm in Thailand

No. 1 (71/2023)

During 12 - 14 March 2023, the moderate high pressure system from China will extend to cover the upper Thailand and the South China Sea while there is hot in the upper country. At the same time, the westerly trough will move to the North. Summer storms, thunderstorms with gust and hails are likely in the North, the Northeast, the Central, the East, including Bangkok and its vicinity. People please stay safe from the severe conditions by keeping off an open area, big trees and unsecured billboards. Farmers are advised to prepare for crop’s damages.

The advisory is in effect on 9 March 2023, at 5.00 a.m.
