Subject: Summer Storm in upper Thailand
No. 8 (59/2024)
The high-pressure system covers the eastern part of the Northeast and the South China Sea while the southerly and southeasterly winds bring the moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf to the upper country. Outbreak of summer storms and gusty winds are likely in some areas of the lower Northeast region. People in the area should beware of severe conditions by keeping off outdoor places, big trees and unsecured billboards. Farmers should prevent crop damage.
Affected areas are as followings:
On 10 March 2024
Northeast: Nakhon Ratchasima and Buriram.
The final advisory is in effect on 10 March 2024, at 5.00 a.m.
