Subject: Summer Thunderstorm in the upper Thailand

The weak high-pressure system from China extend to the upper Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea leading to the easterly and southeasterly winds bring the moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf to the upper country where hot weather occurs. Outbreaks of summer storms are possible following with thunderstorms, gusty wind and hail including lightning strike are likely in Tak, Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Lamphun, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. Suphan Buri, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Sakhon, Samut Songkhram, including Bangkok and its vicinity.
People in the upper country should keep healthy due to changeable weather and beware of severe conditions by keeping outdoor places away, big trees and unsecured billboards and farmers should prevent crops damage and animals’ danger lasting 1 Apr.
During 31 Mar – 3 Apr 2025, the easterly wave will move pass the east, the Gulf and the South into the Andaman Sea with more rains, gusty wind and isolated heavy to very rains in the South.
