Subject: Tropical storm “YINXING”
No.17 (278/2024)
At 04.00 a.m. LST (12 November 2024), the tropical storm “YINXING” over the South China Sea near the coast of middle Vietnam. It was due 110 km east of Quang Ngai, the coast of middle Vietnam or at latitude 14.9 degrees north and longitude 109.8 degrees east. With maximum sustained winds about 65 km/hr. This storm was moving south at a speed of 15 km/hr. This storm will not move to Thailand, expected to downgrade to tropical depression and the active low pressure cell respectively. The travelers should check the weather forecast for the region you're going to be visiting
The monsoon trough lie across the lower South and Malaysia while the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the upper Gulf and the upper South with isolated heavy rains in the South. People in the areas should beware of heavy rains and accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially in the foothills near the waterways and the lowland areas.
