Subject: Tropical storm “YINXING”
No.18 (279/2024)

At 10.00 a.m. LST (12 November
2024), the tropical storm “YINXING” over the coast of middle Vietnam. It was
due 60 km northeast of Quy Nhon, the coast of middle Vietnam or at latitude 14.2 degrees north
and longitude 109.6 degrees east.
With maximum sustained winds about 65 km/hr. This
storm was moving south-southwest at a speed of 15
km/hr. This storms will not present direct
effect to Thailand. It is expected to downgrade to
tropical depression and the active low pressure cell respectively.
The travelers should check the weather forecast for the region you're going to
be visiting
The monsoon trough lie across the lower South and Malaysia while the weak southwest monsoon prevails over the
upper Gulf and the upper South with isolated heavy rains in
the South. People
in the areas should beware of heavy rains and accumulation that may cause flash
floods and overflows, especially in the foothills near the waterways and the
lowland areas.
