Weather Advisory
Subject: Variable weather in the upper Thailand, Heavy Rainfall in
the South and the Strong wind and wave in the Lower Gulf
(Effect until 21 March 2025)

The rather strong high-pressure system from China extends to the upper Thailand with decreasing in temperature by 1-3 °C with strong wind. Thundershowers still be in some areas of the North and the Central. People in the upper country should keep healthy due to variable weathers. Farmers should prevent for crops damage and livestock danger.
The rather strong easterly and southeasterly winds prevailing over the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea during 18 – 21 Mar, with isolated heavy rains in Chumphon, Surat Thani,Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung and Songkhla. The strengthening wind and waves in the lower Gulf up to 2-3 meters and above
3 meters high in thundershowers while, in the upper Gulf up to 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the Gulf and Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers area. Small boats in the lower Gulf and offshore of the Andaman Sea should keep ashore lasting 21 Mar.
