Subject: Variable weather over upper Thailand
And heavy to very heavy rain in the South
No.11 (260/2024)
Another moderate to rather strong
high-pressure system from China extends to upper Thailand,
the upper South and the South China Sea. Cool in the morning are forecast in
the area and 1 – 2 °C drop
in temperature and strong wind are forecast in the Northeast. On mountaintops of the North and
the Northeast, cool to cold is forecast. The easterly and the southeasterly wind in the high altitude
prevails over the lower North, the lower Northeast, the lower Central including
Bangkok and vicinity and the East with isolated thundershower. People in the
areas should keep healthy.
The monsoon trough lie across the South while the northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South. Isolated heavy to very heavy rain are likely in the South. People in the South should beware of severe condition that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially in the foothills near the waterways and the lowland areas.

South: Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat, Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun.
On 6 November 2024
South: Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Ranong, Phang Nga and Krabi.
