Subject: Variable weather over upper Thailand
And heavy to very heavy rain in the South
No.9 (258/2024)
The moderate to rather strong high-pressure system from China covers upper Thailand, the upper South and the South China Sea. Cool in the morning are forecast in the area. On mountaintops of the North and the Northeast, cool to cold is forecast. People in the areas should keep healthy and beware of fire due to strong winds and dry air.
The monsoon trough lie across the South with the low-pressure cell will move pass the monsoon trough that lies across the South on 4 November 2024 while the northeasterly wind prevails over the upper Gulf and the upper South. Isolated heavy to very heavy rain are likely in the South. People in the South should beware of severe condition that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially in the foothills near the waterways and the lowland areas.

South: Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat, Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun.
On 5-6 November 2024
South: Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat, Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi and Trang.
