From 10 to 14 October, the moderate strong high-pressure system extend to upper Thailand, leading to thundershowers with isolated gusty winds and heavy to very heavy rains from 10 to 11 October. Thereafter, temperatures will decrease by 3-5 degree Celsius in the Northeast but 1-3 degree Celsius in the North, the Central and the East. People should beware of variable weather and keep healthy.
The easterly wind across the Gulf of Thailand and the South will strengthen with heavy to very heavy rains in the South from 10 to 11 October.
Affected areas are as followings:
10 October 2022
North: Sukhothai, Kamphaeng Phet, Phichit and Phitsanulok.
Central: Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Chainat, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Suphan Buri,
Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Samut Songkhram, Samut Sakhon, Nakhon Pathom, including Bangkok and its vicinity.
East: Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.
South: Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Ranong and Phang Nga.
11 October 2022
South: Phetchaburi and Prachuap Khiri Khan.
The winds force the waves in the Gulf up about 2 meters high and in thundershowers more than 2 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution lasting 14 October.
This advisory is in effect on 10 October 2022, at 5.00 a.m.
