"Tropical Storm “ETAU” Category 3"
No. 6 Time Issued November 10, 2020
     At 4.00 a.m. today (10 November), tropical storm “ETAU” over the middle South China Sea was centered at east of Nha Trang, Vietnam about 200 km or latitude 12.0 degrees north, longitude 111.0 degrees east. Its maximum sustained winds about 65 km/hr, it is moving west about 25 km/hr.

        It is expected to make landfall over lower Vietnam on 10 November 2020 then downgrade to the tropical depression and the active low pressure over Cambodia. Isolated rain is likely over the Northeast and the East. Farmers should prepare for crop damage.

       

        The advisory is in effect on 10 November 2020, at 5.00 a.m.
