Weather Warning "Heavy to very Heavy Rain, strong wind and wave in the South." No. 3 Time Issued December 23, 2020 |
The active low-pressure cell over the lower South China Sea will move through the Gulf of Thailand and the South by tomorrow (24 December 2020) while the strong northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf of Thailand and the South. More rain and heavy to very heavy rains are likely in the South. People in the South should beware of the severe condition that may cause flash flood. Affected areas are as followings: 24 December, 2020 Very heavy rain: Chumphon, Surat Thani Nakhon Si Thammarat Phatthalung and Songkhla. Heavy rain: Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat, Ranong and Phangnga. 25 December, 2020 Heavy rain: Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Ranong and Phangnga. 26 December, 2020 Heavy rain: Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Ranong and Phangnga. The strong wind and waves are in the Gulf of Thailand and the South, 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the Gulf proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boats keep ashore lasting 26 December.
