"Heavy Rain in South "
No. 8 Time Issued January 5, 2021
The rather strong northeast monsoon prevails over Thailand and the Gulf while the low-pressure cell covers the coast of Malaysia. Isolated heavy rain will be likely southern provinces: Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. People should beware of the severe condition that may cause flash flood and water runoff.
The moderate wind forces the waves up to about 2 meters high from Nakhon Si Thammarat passing south and more than 3 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
This advisory is in effect on 5 January 2021, at 5.00 p.m.
The next issue will be at 6 January 2021, at 5.00 a.m.
