"Cool to Cold in upper Thailand and strong Wind-Waves in Gulf"

No. 2 Time Issued January 7, 2021
     From 8 - 12 January 2021, a strong high-pressure system from China will extend to upper Thailand, leading to colder weather and temperature drops 5-8 degree Celsius with strong wind, starting from the Northeast before. The other part will be affected in the next day. People in the area should keep healthy due to the colder weather.

        The stronger northeast monsoon across the Gulf of Thailand and the South forces the wind waves

        2-3 meters high in the upper Gulf, 2-4 meters high in the lower portion and more than 4 meters high in thundershowers. Residents along the shoreline should beware of inshore surf. All ships should proceed with caution. Small boats keep ashore.

       

        This advisory is in effect on 7 January 2021, at 5.00 p.m.

        The next issue will be at 8 January 2021, at 5.00 a.m.
