Weather Warning "Heavy to Very Heavy Rain in upper South and Strong Wind Waves in Gulf"

The active low pressure over the middle Andaman Sea and the upper South West coast are forecast to the Gulf of Martaban and Myanmar on 10 January. Outbreaks of persistent heavy to torrential rains are forecast for following provinces: Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Ranong and Phangnga. People should beware of the severe weather conditions and possible flash flood for the period lasting 10 January. Keep following closely the weather forecast update.
The strong northeast monsoon still prevails over the Gulf of Thailand and the South forcing waves up to 2-3 meters high in the Gulf and Andaman Sea. People should beware of inshore surge. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore lasting 10 January.
