"Summer Thunderstorms over Thailand and Heavy Rain in South"
No. 2 Time Issued March 30, 2017
During 31 March to 4 April, variable weather conditions affect outbreaks of summer thunderstorms over the Northe, the Northeast, the Central and the East. Thundershowers, gusty winds and hail are possible in some areas, and then a decrease in temperature follows.
During 31 March to 1 April, summer thunderstorms are expected in the Northeast, especially provinces of Udon Thani, Nong Khai, Byueng Kan, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buri Ram, Surin, Si Sa Ket and Ubon Ratchathani.
During 1-2 April, more summer thunderstorms cover the North, the Northeast, the East, and the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity.
People keep off outdoor places and stay safe.
During 1-4 April, outbreaks of more rainfall are forecast much of the South with moderate high sea about 2 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution.
Another high pressure from China will extend to upper Thailand and the South China Sea during 31 March to 4 April while hot spells occur in this area. This causes outbreaks of summer thunderstorms. The easterly winds will become strong during 1-4 April resulting in more rainfall with isolated heavy thundershowers.
The advisory is in effect on 30 March 2017 at 5.00 p.m.
The next issue will be at 11.00 p.m., 30 March 2017
