"Heavy to very Heavy Rain in South "

The low pressure covers the lower portions of the Gulf of Thailand and South. The strong easterly winds prevails over the Gulf of Thailand.
During 5-7 April, outbreaks of heavy rain occur much of the South and the East, especially in Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surath Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang, Satun, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. People in the South should beware of possible flash flood.
The moderate wind waves are likely about 2 meters high in the Gulf of Thailand and above 2 meters in thundershower areas. All ships should proceed with caution.
The advisory is in effect on 5 April 2017at 11.00 p.m.
