The high pressure is expected to cover the Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea by 27 April lasting for the period of 29 April while outbreaks of hot spells is still likely over the country. Outbreaks of summer thunderstorms will be likely.
During 27-29 April 2017, outbreaks of summer thunderstorms are accompanied by thundershowers, gusty winds, and isolated hail much of regions following with a decrease in temperature:
By 27 April, events are expected in eastern side of the North (Phayao, Phrae, Nan, Uttaradit, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun), the Northeast (Loei, Nong Bua Lam Phu, Udon Thani, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Mukdahan, Kalasin, Amnat Charoen, Ubon Ratchathani, Si Sa Ket, Surin, Buri Ram and Nakhon Ratchasima), and the East (Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chonburi, Rayong, Chantaburi and Trat).
During 28-29 April, more thunderstorms are expected in the North (Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang, Tak, Kamphaengphet, Phichit, Sukhothai, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun), the Northeast (Loei, Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Si Sa Ket, Surin, Buri Ram and Nakhon Ratchasima), the East (Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chantaburi and Trat), and the Central (Lop Buri, Saraburi, Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi, Suphan Buri and Ratchaburi) including Bangkok and Vicinity.
