"Severe Rain and Strong Winds in South"
No. 23 Time Issued November 28, 2017
During 28 November to 1 December, the low-pressure system over the lower South china will move slowly through the lower South and the Andaman Sea. Outbreaks of continuous torrential rain are forecast much of the areas. Residents should beware of possible flash flood. Affected areas are as following:
28 November: Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat, Phangnga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun.
29 November to 1 December: Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Sonkran, Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat, Phangnga, Phuket, Krabi, Tang and Satun.
The wind in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea will become strong with waves 2-3 meters high in the Gulf and about 2 meters in the Andaman. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats in the Gulf keep ashore. Residents should beware of inshore waves.
The strong high-pressure cover upper Thailand and the South China Sea is weakening. These areas are still cool to cold weather. People stay safe and keep healthy.
