"Tropical Storm KAITAK"

The low pressure cell over Malaysia is expected to decay today. There remains an increase of rainfall volume with torrential downpour especially in provinces of Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat, Trang and Stun. Residents keep watch for inshore surge and possible flash flood. Rough sea will be likely 2-4 meters high in the lower Gulf. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore.
The weak high pressure over upper Thailand brings about a rise in temperature but the upper country outbreaks of continuous cold spells and fog in some places. People stay safe and keep healthy.
Tropical storm “TEMBIN” due west of the coast of the Philippines is moving west to the lower South China Sea and Vietnam during 24-26 December. More rain is forecast for Thailand during 26-28 December.
