1. Heavy rain and Strong Wind-waves in South
The weakening northeast monsoon prevail across the Gulf of Thailand and the lower South bringing isolated heavy rain in Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Rough sea 2-3 meters high are still likely in the lower Gulf. People should beware of the severe conditions. Residents along the Gulf’s shore should watch for inshore surge. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats in the lower Gulf keep ashore in the following day.
2. Colder Conditions in Upper Thailand
The strong high-pressure system over upper Thailand is weakening. There is remains cold spells dropping by 1-2 °C with strong winds in the North. The mountaintops will see cold to very cold spells in the North and the Northeast with minimum temperature about 5-12 °C. People should keep healthy.
