"Cold Weather in upper Thailand and Strong Wind Waves in South"

No. 3 Time Issued February 2, 2018
     During 3–8 February, another strong high-pressure system from China will extend to upper Thailand and the South China Sea while the westerly wind in the upper wind prevail over the North. Cool to cold spell continue by 4-6 °C drops in the upper country and frost in some place on the top of mountain in the North.

        The northeast monsoon over the Gulf will get stronger affect to more rains with wind wave in the the Gulf and the Andaman the South will stronger 2-3 meters high. Inshore surges are still watched along the Gulf, and small boats keep ashore.

        People in upper Thailand keep healthy and watch for crop’s failure. People in the South should beware of heavy conditions.
