"Cold Weather in upper Thailand and Strong Wind Waves in South"

No. 13 Time Issued February 5, 2018
     During 5–6 February, the strong high-pressure system from China extend to Thailand and the South China Sea. Cool to cold spell continue by 2-4 °C drops are likely in the Northeast, the Central and the East while the North, Bangkok and vicinity by 1-3 °C drops in temperature. The frost on the top of mountain is likely in the North. People in upper Thailand keep healthy and watch for crop’s failure.

        The strong northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South affect the wind and wave in the Gulf and the Andaman the South is likely 2-3 meters high. Inshore surges are still watched along the Gulf, and small boats keep ashore until 7 February.
