"Summer Storms in Upper Thailand "

The rather strong high pressure over southern China is expected to reach the Northeast of Thailand by 6 March. Its attack with hot air over upper Thailand will lead to summer storms over the areas during 6-9 March. Outbreaks of thundershowers are forecast with gusty winds and hail in the North and the Northeast. Residents should keep of unsecured buildings and outdoor places. Affected areas are as followings:
Northeast: Loei, Nongbua Lamphu, Nong Khai, Udon Thani, Bueng Kan, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Mukdahan, Khon Kaen, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, Maha Sarakham, Kalasin, Roi Et, Yasothon, Amnart Charoen and Ubon Ratchathani.
East: Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao and Chon Buri
Central: Nakhon Sawan, Lop Buri, Saraburi, Uthai, Chai Nat, Sing Buri, Ang Thong and Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya including Bangkok and its vicinity.
Northeast: Loei, Nongbua Lamphu, Khon Kaen, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Si Sa Ket and Ubon Ratchathani.
North: Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phayao, Phrae, Nan, Lamphun, Lampang, Tak, Sukhothai, Uttaradit, Phitsanulok, Kamphaengphet, Phichit and Phetchabun
Central: Nakhon Sawan, Lop Buri, Saraburi, Uthai, Chai Nat, Sing Buri, Ang Thong, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Suphang Buri, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi including Bangkok and its vicinity.
East: Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat
South: Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon and Surat Thani
