"Summer Thunderstorm "

The high pressure system from China will cover upper Thailand and the westerly trough will prevail over the North. Outbreaks of summer thunderstorms coming with gusty winds, possible hail and isolated heavy rain will be forecast during 5-6 April for the North, the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, and the East. By 7 April ahead, the Northeast and the East will see a decrease in rainfall while the Central and the North have continuity of rain. People should stay safe from severe conditions including possible flash flood. Keep off unsecured building and outdoor, and beware of crop damage.
Affected areas are as following:

Northeast: Loei, Nong Bua Lamphu, Nong Khai, Udon Thani, Bueng Kan, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Mukdahan, Khon Kaen, Maha Sarakham, Kalasin, Roi Et, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Si Sa Ket, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen and Ubon Ratchathani.
East: Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.
Central: Nakhon Sawan, Lop Buri, Saraburi, Chai Nat, Sing Buri, Ang Thong, and Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya including Bangkok and its vicinity.
7 April 2018
North: Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phayao, Phrae, Nan, Lamphun, Lampang, Tak, Sukhothai, Uttaradit, Phitsanulok, Kamphaengphet, Phichit and Phetchabun.
Central: Nakhon Sawan, Lop Buri, Saraburi, Chai Nat, Sing Buri, Ang Thong, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Suphan Buri, Kanchanaburi, Samut Sakhon, and Samut Songkhram including Bangkok and its vicinity.
During 7-9 April, the easterly winds will get stronger with more rain and isolated heavy downpours in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket and Trang. Rough seas are forecast 2-3 meters high in both the Gulf and the Andaman Sea. All ships should proceed with caution.
