Subject: Tropical depression.

No. 2 (273/2023)

At 04.00 p.m. LST (17 October 2023), the tropical depression over the middle South China Sea. It was centered at latitude 16.1 degrees North, longitude 110.0 degrees East with sustained winds about 55 km/hr. It is moving west slowly, expected to intensify with no direct effect on Thailand’s weather.

       This advisory is in effect on 17 October 2023, at 5.00 p.m.
