Subject: Summer Storm in Thailand
(Effect during 6-8 March 2025)

The moderate to rather strong high-pressure system covers the Northeast and the South China Sea, leading to southerly and southeasterly winds prevailing over the upper country. Meanwhile, the weather in the upper country is hot to very hot. The outbreak of summer storms is possible, accompanied by gusty winds and lightning strikes in some areas of the North, Northeast, Central region including Bangkok and its vicinity, and East. People in these areas should beware of severe conditions by avoiding outdoor places, large trees, and unsecured billboards. Farmers should take preventive measures to protect crops from damage and animals from danger.

Northeast: Bueng Kan, Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Kalasin, Mukdahan, Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buri Ram, Surin, Si Sa Ket, and Ubon Ratchathani
Central: Nakhon Sawan, Lop Buri, Saraburi, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Samut Sakhon, and Samut Songkhram
East: Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi, and Trat
