Tropical Storm TALIM No. 8 (194/2023)

At 4.00 p.m. on 16 July, severe tropical storm TALIM over the upper South China Sea was due at latitude 19.2 degrees north, longitude 115.1 degrees east. With sustained wind of about 90 km/hr, it moves west-northwest with velocity to 15 km/hr. to pass through Hainan and make landfall over upper Vietnam by 18 and 19 July.
