Subject: Storm
“TAPAH”
No.10 (242/2025)

At 07.00 a.m. LST (8 September
2025), the severe tropical storm
“TAPAH” over the upper South China Sea is
intensified to typhoon. At 10.00 a.m. made landfall
over Guangdong, China or at latitude 22.1 degrees
north and longitude 112.1 degrees east, with maximum sustained winds about 120 km/hr.
This storm is moving northwest with
a speed of 20 km./hr. This storm has no direct effect on Thailand’s weather but
induced the strengthening southwest monsoon prevails over Thailand. The travelers should check the
weather forecast for the region you're going to be visiting.
This
advisory is in effect on 8 September 2025, at 11.00 a.m.
This next issue will be on 8 September 2025,
at 17.00 p.m.
