to cold in Upper Thailand
Heavy to very heavy
rains in the South and Strong wind-waves in the Gulf

During 16–19
Nov,
another strong high-pressure system from China will extend to Thailand.
Thundershowers are likely in the upper country for the first period then a
decrease in temperature with strong wind. A decrease in temperature by 5–7 °C
is likely in the Northeast, a decrease in 4-6 °C is likely in the North while a
decrease in 2–4 °C in temperature is likely in the Central including Bangkok
and its vicinity and the East. People in the upper country
should keep healthy and beware of fire due to strong winds and dry air. Farmers
should prepare for crop’s damage.
The rather strong northeast monsoon
prevails over the Gulf, the South and the Gulf with isolated heavy to very
heavy rains in the South. People in the South should
beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash
floods and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands.
The rather strong wind forces the wave in the Gulf up to 2–3 meters high and
above 3 meters high in thundershowers while about 1 meter high in the Andaman
Sea and 1-2 meters high offshore. People along the Gulf shore should beware of
inshore surges. All ship should proceed with caution and keep off
thundershowers throughout the period, small boats in the Gulf keep ashore during
17–19 Nov.
