Subject: Variable Weather in Upper Country
and Heavy to Very Heavy Rains in South
No. 11 (343/2022)
The active low-pressure cell in the coast of the lower South and Malaysia. Thereafter on 4 and 5 Dec, it will pass the South into the Andaman Sea with more rains. Isolated heavy to very rains are also possible. People should beware of the severe condition that may causes flash flood and overflows, especially along the foothills near the waterways and lowlands.
Affected areas are as followings:
2 December 2022
South: Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat, Phangna, Krabi, Trang and Satun.
3-4 December 2022
South: Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat, Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun.
On 3 and 4 Dec, the strengthening wind forces the waves 2-3 meters high in the lower Gulf, above 3 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and small boat keep ashore.
In addition,
during 3- 4 Dec 2022, the moderate high-pressure from China covers upper Thailand.
A decrease in temperatures by 1-2 °C in the upper country.
People should keep healthy due to variable weathers.
