Subject: Variable Weather in Upper Country
and Heavy to Very Heavy Rains in South
No. 12 (344/2022)
The active low-pressure cell over the lower South and Malaysia. Thereafter on 4 and 5 Dec, it will pass the South into the Andaman Sea. Meanwhile, the moderated northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South with more rain and isolated heavy to very rains are also possible. People should beware of the severe condition that may causes flash flood and overflows, especially along the foothills near the waterways and lowlands.
Affected areas are as followings:
4 December 2022
South: Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat, Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun.
The moderated wind forces the waves 2-3 meters high in the lower Gulf, above 3 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and small boat keep ashore until 4 Dec.
The final advisory is in effect on 4 December 2022, at 5.00 a.m.
